HIV/STI Safety Campaign

Splash of Water Drops

A dynamic initiative aimed at enhancing HIV/STI testing within our community. Understanding the significance of informed decisions and tailored information, this campaign seamlessly combines education with accessibility, catering to various circumstances individuals may find themselves in. Our mission is to empower our community to take charge of their health through knowledge and testing options that fit their needs.

Proposal

Recognizing that increasing testing requires both education and accessibility, I created a proposal that articulated a strategy that empowers individuals to take control of their health decisions. By intertwining health education, we offered knowledge that matches each person's circumstances, fostering informed choices.

Highlighting the profound impact of stigma, the proposal underscored our greatest obstacle: the fear surrounding HIV/STI testing. To address this, I advocated for a dual communication strategy. One set of messages, discreet yet aligned with the campaign's branding, would be disseminated publicly to mitigate stigma in social situations. The discreet yet enticing communication, like a QR code inviting one to "scan to learn more," aims to spark curiosity without triggering reservations.

Simultaneously, a more comprehensive communication stream would cater to private consumption through websites and social media, ensuring that individuals can engage with in-depth information on their terms. Through this strategic proposal, the Text 2 Test Campaign was not just born, but fortified with a comprehensive plan to engage, educate, and empower our community.

Business Cards

I designed discreet yet impactful business cards with a bold design to spark interest without stigma. Featuring a QR code, they provided instant access to scheduled testing, inquiries, and information, embracing our commitment to accessible and private pathways toward informed health choices.

Transforming Business Cards into Outreach Stickers

I repurposed the discreet business cards and transformed them into stickers, strategically poised for distribution in places where individuals at high-risk gather. This dynamic strategy aimed to seamlessly integrate essential information into social settings, fostering the potential for informed health choices and extending the campaign's impact.

Health Education & Event Flyers

The Text 2 Test campaign embraced a multi-layered approach, diving deeper into health education with informative flyers discreetly provided within white bags alongside free condoms at outreach events. This strategy allowed individuals to access comprehensive information in a private and comfortable environment, fostering informed decision-making while ensuring their discretion. Through this thoughtful dissemination, we aimed to equip our community with knowledge that empowers responsible health choices.

Social Media

Harnessing the power of digital platforms, the Text 2 Test campaign extended its reach through social media channels. In-depth information was skillfully shared, allowing individuals to engage privately and at their own pace. By providing comprehensive details on HIV/STI testing and related topics, we aimed to empower individuals with knowledge that transcends stigma, fostering informed choices and nurturing a community dedicated to responsible health practices.
